Hello Carlos I am sure the members here would be very interested to see the evolution of your 1920 Fishing Trawler. I know I will! Go right ahead! There hasn't been much happening here since Ian McIntosh built his model steam drifter Jeannie McIntosh - this project was followed with great interest by a sizeable group of people.

Hello Ian and good evening. Thanks for your reception. Well , The Modelboatmayhem is one of my favorite sites. I dont miss any upgrade. My wonder is; to have a discussion about this old steam fishing boats with a specialist ,a old boatbuilder who remember the old tecniks, the old steam mechanic etc. I hope that will happen here , on this forum, let´s give life to the forum ,even talking about model boats. Best Regards

Carlos, You will find that Davie Tait is a real mine of information, he comes from a line of North sea fishermen in The North of Scotland. He uses the mayhem forum and also has another website with hundreds of new and old pictures at: www.trawlerphotos.co.uk/Ian

Hello Carlos There is a book you would very much enjoy - if you haven't already seen it. 'From Tree to Sea' Ted Frost
The building of a wooden steam drifter - great illustrations and great book.
