My grandfather -- James Clark -- owned a share of the Rochomie -- BCK 62. I have a great picture of it located in a prominent spot in my home. I also have what I think is the original bill of sale that shows James Clark as the buyer. I believe I provided the picture of BCK 62 --- through another party -- that is on display by the Buckie Heritage Society. My wife and I have visited Buckie numerous times and hopefully not for the last time. We have many good friends and relative in Buckie. My grandparents lived at 12 Craigenroan Place in Portessie. During one of our visits I was an overnite guest "member of the crew" on the Braes of Strathlene -- a wonderful experience. The sea was calm as a millpond and we brought in a good haul of prawns. I remember a gentlemen with a last name of Jappy was one of the crew. A young lad named Graham served oak cakes and tea in the middle of the night. I think Graham is now -- or was at one time -- skipper of his own boat. Another member of the crew was George Findlay who became a good friend as we returned to Buckie again and again. Great to have a place to share these memories.
