1. Resize your image to around 600 pixels wide or so, being careful to click the 'Keep aspect' box (or similar). 2. Your image has to be uploaded somewhere. If you don't have any webspace or you don't know how to access it, try this free service. www.filehigh.com/3. Once you have an account you can upload an image from your computer. 4. This image will have its own unique url. Highlight this url and COPY. Click on the image icon in the toolbar on this forum & you will get [/img]. Paste the url between these bracketed img codes. 5. Keep your fingers crossed and post it.

Hi glenn, hope you got the pictures I sent you, are they any good for your site. Im not the best computer user but hopefully you might be able to use some of them for your site. They at least show, like your own photo the people of that era and what they looked like. They were all taken in Buckie beside where they lived.

Hi Glenn glad the photo's were of use. Liked the additional info you added, made me feel my photo's became a part of your site thanks very much for that . Where did you find this info it was very interesting . Wish more would join in there must be someone out there with more info to add to your site or something to say about it. Plenty have been looking as you can see by the hits the site has had. Hope this happens soon. All the best.

brenda - been away for a few days. Photos from people like yourself, will expand the site and create more interest. Thanks for the contribution. Yes it is a bit slow, but as you say there are plenty of hits so we'll just hand in there - it will happen.

Good Day- Just joined the forum- My great grandfather had a steam drifter Venture 557 built 1908 as PD 525 -this vessel was recalled after war service- trying to retrace family info- can you help_ apprecaite any info-
